HygienistMarie’s Story
Marie Len has worked as a dental hygienist for 30 years for the office of Dr. Joan Lenze. Marie was raised in Orlando and became a Certified Dental Assistant and then went onto received an AS degree in Dental Hygiene in Jacksonville. Marie moved back to Orlando and started with Dr. Joan as her one and only Dental Hygienist. “I guess I could be called the senior hygienist on many different levels” (Marie). You can find Marie working at the front desk with Janet as well as performing dental hygiene duties.
Marie’s husband of 26 years, Bruce Len, was a reluctant dental patient and after 2 years of cleaning his teeth he sent me roses after his dental appointment. They have 2 children, Kyle 23, senior at University of Miami (go CANES) and Dana, 21, a licensed massage therapist and student at Lake Sumter Community College.
Our office is a tight knit group who have shared many joys and sorrows. Our dental friendships have spanned the years. You could not ask for a better place to work and it reflects in our attitude that we treat our patients like the family and friends they are.
